Will there be another site at which your story can be read?

Re: A final apology

Just want to add that I hope you stay around for the various discussions in the Tea Room even when you are not posting stories on the Message Board.

Re: A final apology

???What does this imply? In a sense, I think it is only natural to 'discuss' some points in one's story, especially as you intend to have it published and wish it to remain as realistic (both in style,...

A suggestion

Stan, since the message board entries to your story are not being archived anyway, why not simply post your chapters here in the Tea Room instead where full discussions can take place?

Re: A suggestion

This sounds like a good compromise to me. I was going to suggest that Stan set up a thread in here for discussion, but since the story isn't being archived anyway, I like this idea better.

Re: American vs British

Someone has done that for OpenOffice, actually. I don't know what it would take to use it in Word, but here's a link.

Re: A suggestion

Oh, yes, that may be a solution.... (biting my tongue not to add an 'indeed' after that line ;-) )Then we are also able to discuss more, I think?I hope this can be acceptable to all parties involved.

Re: A final apology

This is sad news, Stan. You've been an invaluable addition to the DWG community, and we would hate to lose both you and your story. I hope you can find some compromise.
