I find it hard not to participate in the discussions of my stories, too. I'm not sure what the rules would say about posting your fiction in the Tea Room, but what I do in those situations has roughly the same effect, and it's within the rules.
Just move the discussion over here. That's what I've done, and occasionally those discussions have become quite pointed, though never heated or uncivil, and I've never been dinged for moving the discussion over her. (I have been dinged on a few other things, but that was out of ignorance, of not quite having absorbed all the rules, and once dinged I've managed to correct).

The ladies here are all wonderful company, don't get me wrong. But a rough-edged guy like me find it comfortable to know that there's at least one other drop of testosterone floating about.
Don't leave. Find a compromise or a solution, and stick around. If I can adjust you sure as heck can.
Everybody's who's posted on this thread has offered nothing but support, and a desire to keep you on board. That's gotta count for something. You're a smart guy. Your comments and your fiction show that. Surely you can figure out a way to stick to the rules and stick around at the same time.
The site will be poorer for your absence.
