Thanks, as always, for your support. I will not vary from canon, as I believe that the fan base out there just really enjoys being in the JA universe, and the closer it feels to the real thing, the happier they are; not that the other approach isn’t fun, stimulating, and worthwhile, but just—when you want to go back home to Derbyshire, nothing else really fills the need.

At this point I will probably self-publish. With the bottleneck that exists in even getting an agent to look at your work (plus the overall arrogance of the business model) I tend to think it is a better avenue. It took this agent two months to look over a piece of my work as a personal favor, and I can translate to Kindle in about ten minutes. Plus, if you get sales and good reviews, then mass marketing is still an option.
