Thanks for your suggestions and thoughts, Mari. I will definitely spend some time wading through the message board archives. (Although to be clear, I’m not really looking for a definitive list. I just want suggestions to help me narrow down the massive number of stories that exist on this site. I actually read a lot of stories from this website when I was younger, so I have favorites of my own to start with, but suggestions are always helpful. For critical works I use biographies and reference librarians, but for fanfiction, who better to turn to than my fellow fans?)
