Jane lost me totally however when she implied that Emma had never tried to get to know her. Emma has done that, in her own typical terrible Emma fashion and Jane has been the one to draw boundries which she is entitled to do of course , but then she can't imply that Emma hasn't bothered to get to know Jane if Jane was the one drawing 'professional' and personal boundries with Emma and refusing to let Emma in. She's entitled to do that but then she can't complain about Emma not knowing her! She can't have her cake and eat it too!
I understand she's mad that Emma can't see that Frank is "hers" (secret boyfriend, secret husband, secret crime fighting partner whatever they are doing with that "Subterfuge is necessary" relationship - it better be good). But that's her fault and Franks, not Emma's. (Of course if Emma doesn't cotton on the minute she sees the photos of the party where Jane's boundries and poker face are pretty well dropped then well Emma is even more blind than usual!)
If she thinks Emma is a princess who doesn't think about anyone but herself (ie just talks the talk not walks the walk which was the other discussion they had) then I don't see how Jane would logically even expect Emma to notice.
So yeah Jane lost me there. And she'll lose me even more if she doens't DUMP Frank. (Unless they are a secret viligante crime fighting duo in which case I suppose she is allowed to continue to do that with him) because dude Frank is a JERK.
