Books out there. Read many of the published JAFF in fact because my librarian must love them she seems to stock them all!
I can attest that many of they are really close copies of the text (they even skip the fill in bits like what Darcy was up to between leaving netherfield and going to Rosings!) or they are very similar to each other! Covering the same themes etc
I agree that you should lay your hands on as many Darcy POV published books as you can to see how you differentiate because merely being a man writing Darcy's POV won't be enough. It's what happens in the story that will differentiate you.
This counts for all published JAFF I read something different has to grab me on the blurb (so often they lie! I read one that gave me the impression the book came to focus on Kitty but really was just the book from Jane and bingley POV with huge chunks just of the book)
