Re: HH: Jane has her baby

I'm not a huge Carmelo fan, either. I keep hoping he'll slip up, cheat on her, or even just get electrified or something while fixing the laptop, but he remains healthy. I'd do something deliberate (I have been known to lock Sims in rooms and wait) but Jane loves him and I don't want to make her sad unnecessarily. And he does like kids, so he'll probably be a good dad to Kitty. Anyway, now that he's an elder he has about 15 days left to live, which isn't that long...in fact, now that Lydia and Booker have moved out, he might be gone by the time we get back to Jane.

I'm thinking about starting a legacy challenge when this game runs its course, like with Emma Darcy, or possibly with one of her children, assuming she has any.

A legacy challenge starts with one Sim in an empty lot, and you basically see how far you can take the family without any cheating whatsoever - that caveat is really hard for me, because I cheat like crazy. Money cheats, motives cheats (the Sims' needs deteriorate over time, unless you're like me and you just cheat to keep them full all the time so they never have to eat, sleep, or go to the bathroom), friendship cheats (What's that you say, game? Charles needs another friend to max out his Charisma skill? *cheatcheatcheat* Done!), and basically any cheat I can think of. I don't think I've EVER played the game without cheating, so it would be a new challenge for me.

The goal for a legacy challenge is usually ten generations. I think it would be fun to see where the Darcy (or Bingley, or Singleton, or Pereira, I suppose) line ends up ten generations down the line. Would you guys be interested in reading that?
