Questions for some Jane Fans

Hello Janeites,

I am a grad student working on a Jane Austen project. What I need to do is interview and survey some Jane Austen fan fic writer's to see how they find information on Jane Austen for their material. I don't quite know how to start this process, but I thought it would be easier to ask any person who is willing. If you are one of those people, I would greatly appreciate it if you could respond to my post by answering some of (all if you can) the questions that I have presented below. :) Thank You!

1. Where do you go to find Austen information? Do you use the library, or a book store? Or do you only use the internet? And why?

2. What resources do you use, such as books, blogs, and internet search engines? What do you use them for and Why?

3. Do you create your own information source? (i.e. do you have your own blog, or web page that pertains to Jane Austen? Do you post on forum boards to provide information for others?)

4. Do you think there are any faults with the websites you use for you information? (i.e is the site trust worthy?)

5. When looking at the websites you do use, what made you choose that website? What do you like about the community and other people that also use the website? (you can use Dwiggie.com for an example, why do you like and use this website?)

6. Are there any forum/blog websites that you don't use or like? And Why?
