I was talking to Shem to a matter mostly unrelated, but it lead me to search for an old post I (or possibly someone else) might or might not have made on the DWG boards anytime between 2006 and 2012 (roughly). The only thing I was certain of was that it was *not* in the archived stories. So armed with that precise information, I dove into the story board archives. It was a fun time of reminiscing and embarrassing cringeing at stuff that I wrote. I slogged through the posts from June 2008 to December 2010 when my phone's battery gave up. I then discovered that the search interfaces work much better on the computer and it was only a matter of seconds then, to locate at least part of what I was searching for. I have two questions now, however:
1) Am I correct in assuming that anything that was posted before June 2008 (but not archived in the story archives) is no longer with us? I have an old link, but it's broken. I don't need to access that post, just curious.
2) Was it Marks who changed the settings in the 2010 archive page to Czech? (http://www.dwiggie.com/archive/index.php?27)
