Personally, despite what other readers of Emma have said, I have never found Emma much changed at the end of the book. I've not been following the videos close enough to say for certain, but based on what I've seen from the book, I would say that Emma only changed a little bit, and it sounds to me that you've gotten that. Despite being the protagonist, I've always felt that Emma is largely a static character. And that is why, in my opinion, that Emma will keep filming--she hasn't actually changed *enough*. You've referenced humility, and again, in the book, I think Emma has been humbled, but not truly gained humility, if that makes sense.
I'm not sure that this is what you were wondering, but this is always the impression I've gotten: and why I've had trouble really watching the videos--I immensely dislike characters that don't really, really change for the better. (Hence my undying hatred for Gone With The Wind) :)
