I quite agree. Though, in general, I prefer the casting in the '95 version, the '80 version with Elizabeth Garvie and David Rintoul is great, and Malcolm Rennie, is the best of the all the Collinses, and the closest to the character as drawn by Miss Austen.
The '80 version also has the best Mrs. Gardiner, Barbara Shelley.
