I guess that's the real question. With Darcy married, will she accurately re-assess her own capabilities and aim for game she can bring down? Or will she insist on a man of Darcy's stature, and possibly miss the bus? Or, even, remain single until she's 30 or 35, but finally land a titled gentleman, probably older, who wants an attractive, sophisticated, younger-but-not-too-young wife, perhaps a widower with children? Since she's described as handsome rather than pretty, I suspect her attractiveness will last.
I think her determination to retain visiting rights at Pemberley (with the eligible gentlemen who would probably end up there as part of the Darcy circle, friends or relatives of Darcy) shows a predisposition to the former. It's even possible she had other prospects on the board, and that we see her devoting herself to Darcy mostly because we don't see her with anybody else. I kind of played up that possibility in Comfort & Consequence, with her hunting down Darcy and a baronet's son in London at the same time, devoting herself to Darcy when only he is around, and to the other fellow when Darcy is absent. I don't think we see that in canon, BTW, but I'm not sure it's explicitly impossible. Knowing Caroline, it wouldn't surprise me if she had one or two marked for the back burner, just in case.
