You're right about Myrna Loy being a knockout, in the sense that when she's on screen you're not looking at anyone else. I think that makes her perfect for Elizabeth, who attracted both Darcy and Colonel Fitzwilliam - ladylike but sexy as hell. When you look at M.L. objectively there is lack of perfect symmetry yet after awhile she seems like one of the handsomest women of your acquaintance.. . .
