Chatsworth is DWG's chat room. It used to be used more frequently, but now I think there are only a handful of our members that use it regularly -- usually at a set time of day. That way if you enter the "room," you'll be assured that someone will eventually happen along as well.
As to how it works, you enter the room and then wait for someone to join you. The chat room link will tell you how many members are currently in the chat room, and the "Who is chatting?" link will tell you which member that is. (It also displays the name of the last people in the room if they "time out.") Once you're in the room, you have to constantly refresh both to remain active in the chat room and to see new messages. It's rather archaic in that respect, as it doesn't self-refresh.
