:) That is high praise, indeed: to be seen as close to canon is, I’m sure, as high as any of us could aspire to. And, as I understand that stealing other authors’ ideas has a grand tradition in writing (Shakespeare himself has been accused of it, if I remember my freshman humanities course), please feel free ;). Seriously, if I have been so fortunate as to have found my way into your vision, if my splash has rippled into your work, that is its own special brand of immortality.
