I liked the first version better, too! When she abandoned that one and then started the rewrite, I truly believed that it would finally be finished but it stopped rather abruptly and all comments were never replied to again.
I enjoyed her other finished stories and would have enjoyed either version of this one but I did like the first one better. I'm glad I'm not the only one.
