I have a fairly long WIP called The Wedding Party that I am very unhappy with. I wrote myself into a corner, and I can't see any way to finish it to my liking without revising quite a lot of it. And whenever I read the first chapter I think, "I'd really like to revise this", and so on.
Writing is revising, as they say. It's easy to just keep revising, never finishing, because nothing is ever perfect.
