Heather, you gave me a wholly new perspective. I am only a reader and although I have learned - from interactions - a lot about how different types of feedback might affect writers, I never considered this. I had always meant any asking for more as an expression of how delighted I was with the story and how much I valued it. I hope I never offended writers and I know I don't whine for updates and only ask about them after a lengthy break, but I will be even more careful about this to avoid stressing authors. Thank you!
